Jagananna vidya deevena update 2021-22

Fresh registration

  • The Andhra Pradesh government has released a letter regarding the new registration of Jagannath Education Blessing and Accommodation Blessing. The duty policies related to it are as follows.

Registration guidelines

  • The last date for registration is December 5, 2021 or within 20 days from the date of joining the college.
  • Every student had to register for this scheme within time by Jnanabhumi portal of thier college log in.
  • Fee Reimbursement will not be paid to students who are not registered in the Jnanabhoomi portal. The management of that relevant college will be fully responsible.

Objectives of the scheme

  • All students pursuing ITI, Polytechnic, Degree, BTech and PG will be reimbursed by the Government for the cost of college under the Fee Reimbursement.

Benefits of the scheme

  • The government will also provide Rs 10,000 for IIT students.
  • Rs 15,000 for Polytechnic students.
  • and Rs 20,000 for degree and PG students under the Jagananna Vasathi Deevena.

Eligibility criteria

  • The annual family income of SC, ST, BC, Minority, Kapu, EBC and merit students should be less than or equal to 2. lakhs.
  • The total property details of the family should be less than 10 acres or less than 25 acres of wet land.
  • In urban areas, the homeless or must have a home area of ‚Äč‚Äčless than 1000 square feet.
  • None of the family members should be a government employee and not a pensioner, but all municipal sanitary workers are eligible.
  • No family member should own a four-wheel drive vehicle. (Tractor and Auto holders are eligible for this scheme).
  • None of the family members should be income tax payers.
  • Student attendance should not be less than 75%.

New registration and grant process

  • Every eligible student should enroll in the Jnanabhumi Portal at their college.
  • If the management of the college is not registered immediately, the student can apply at the concerned village or ward secretariat.

Required documents to apply for jagananna vidya deevena

  • 10th class marks list.
  • Student aadhar card.
  • Mother aadhar card.
  • Caste certificate.
  • Income certificate.
  • Bank account of the mother.

Important to consider

The student should verify his bio-metric immediately after enrolling in the college / village / ward secretariat.

Students who have applied must complete their bio-metric verification at meeseva or at the secretariat.

College principals must confirm the applications of students who have completed the bio-metric with One Time Approval (OTP) and forward it online to the District Welfare Officer.

Students who do not register in time are not eligible for the scheme.
